The Compassion Project is a free class where those affected by cancer can come to be cared for by meeting on the mat.
My motivation for fostering this idea is to care for the caregivers, family members, etc, of cancer patients, survivors, and thrivers.
When attending the class, some gentle movement and a yoga Nidra practice at the end is what to expect. It is a peaceful practice that will ease stress and calm the mind allowing each to rest. No yoga experience is needed.
It would be my most incredible honor to have the opportunity to care for those who take care of all those around them, sometimes overlooking themselves.
The Compassion Project is held every third Sunday of the month from 11:15-12:00. It is an in-person and Zoom-supported class.
In-person classes do not require masks; however, if you are more comfortable wearing one, please feel free. We make every effort to provide a clean and safe environment.
This is a free class brought to the community for those affected; our heart reaches out to you. Please search for the date you would like to attend in Vagaro to sign up.
